    Amendment to Prohibition Operation of Dumps

    TOWN OF HANCOCK

    LOCAL LAW NO. 1, 1999

    A local law Amendment to Local Law No. l of 1991

    Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Hancock, Delaware County, New York, as follows:

    Section 1. Title: A Local Law amending Local Law No. 1 of 1991; A Local Law Prohibiting the Operation of Dumps and Dumping.

    Section 2. Amendment: Local Law No. 1 of 1991 shall be amended to add the following language:

    "Section 9: This Local Law shall not apply to non-permanent moveable containers for construction and demolition debris provided that the debris in such containers is regularly transported away from the site for disposal at a properly registered or permitted facility."

    Section 3. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing with the New York State Secretary of State's Office.

    I hereby certify that the local law annexed hereto, designated as local law no. 1 of 1999 of the Town of Hancock was duly passed by the Town Board on March 3, 1999, in accordance with the applicable provisions of law.

    I further certify that I have compared; the preceding local law with the original on file in this office and that the same is a correct transcript therefrom and of the whole of such original local law, and was finally adopted in the manner indicated in paragraph 1, above.
